Locum Urologist

Position for a locum urologist to work at The Prostate Clinic. TPC is a private clinic specialising in men’s health located on the Gold Coast.

The successful applicant will be involved in the everyday running of clinics, main theatre lists, day surgery and the provision of out-of-hours cover for patients of the clinic. 

The position ideally suits someone who recently completed their FRACS(Urol) and would like additional experience in a busy men’s health clinic before commencing their own private practice. Alternatively, it could be ideal for a urologist at the other end of their career looking to spend a few weeks enjoying warmer weather and the beauty of the Gold Coast. 

The Prostate Clinic is located at Pindara Private Hospital, Benowa. Pindara Private Hospital is an acute medical, surgical, and maternity hospital servicing the northern end of the Gold Coast. Pindara is the largest hospital in the city with 348 licensed beds, 17 operating theatres, and a 24-hour emergency and cardiac centre. It is equipped with state-of-the-art urology equipment including an Artemis profuse transperineal prostate biopsy platform, holmium laser, GreenLight laser, flexible peyloscopy with 4K monitors and a Da Vinci Xi.

Pindara Private Hospital, on the Gold Coast is seeking a locum urologist for a 5-week engagement commencing 1 April 2022.

The position is to provide cover for a private practice and would involve providing cover for routine lists and consulting for busy private practice predominantly managing prostate disease.
